Joe Clancy – WSP

Joe is an award-winning Principal Landscape Architect at WSP (CMLI) and one of the co-authors of Terrapin Bright Green’s 14 Patterns of Biophilic Design. Joe has aided projects, including Cuerden Valley Wildlife Park Visitor Centre (the first Living Building Challenge registered project in the UK) and the proposed Old Oak Common Station public realm in London, to further incorporate experiences of nature within their proposals to enhance human health and wellbeing through the application of biophilic design. Joe has facilitated numerous biophilia workshops advocating equitable access to nature for human health and well-being and identifying opportunities for bringing more experiences of nature into the daily lives of urban inhabitants.
