Hattie has over five years’ professional experience in the environmental sector, with two years in Hong Kong, working on a diverse range of environmental and sustainability studies. Hattie’s work comprises managing and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments, environmental appraisals and sustainability assessments.
Her experience gained in both public and private sectors, including large infrastructure projects such as the Liverpool Football Club stadium expansion EIA, to smaller scale Environment Agency flood defence improvement works in Devon and Cornwall.
She has also undertaqken numerous studies for Welsh Government as their sustainability advisor, reviewing their national sustainability policies and undertaking a sustainability review of the Welsh Building Regulations. A wide range of knowledge and skills have been developed in climate change impact and policy, with particular interest in climate resilience.
