We are ecstatic to announce a friend and partner of Specifi, STEER got Highly Commended at the Construction News Talent Awards for Graduate Initiative of the Year.
We are very proud of what they have achieved in such a short time with minimal resources and equally proud to have help just a little along the way towards this much deserved recognition.
STEER has been set up by four female built environment and engineering professionals with the objective to connect the world of education to industry by guiding, mentoring and supporting undergraduates through the transition. Sharon Slinger a Director of Constructing Rainbows is the chair of STEER who is supported by Joanna Robinson, the Managing Director of Mansfield Pollard; Kayley Lockhead, a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with NG Bailey and Josie Rothera, a Course Director for Civil Engineering at Leeds Beckett University.
Again, massive congratulations to Sharon and the full STEER team and we look forward to working again together in 2019.
