Specifi Support Green in Scotland

Our recent Edinburgh Landscape event provided the opportunity to support 2 organisations doing great work for the good of green infrastructure across Scotland, the Scottish Green Infrastructure Forum and Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust.

Specifi have an ongoing partnership with the SGIF (Scottish Green Infrastructure Forum) providing them with complimentary exhibition space to help spread the word about the group of organisations, businesses and individuals within the forum that are interested in promoting and encouraging the building of Green Infrastructure and the projects they are involved in – for further information www.sgif.org.uk

The speaker for our event was Joe Clancy a landscape architect, horticulturist and biophilic design consultant who’s talk focused on

Biophilia (meaning love of nature) focuses on human’s innate attraction to nature and natural processes. Joe has recently settled in the area and he was keen for us to make a donation to Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust in recognition for the great talk he gave to our captivated Edinburgh audience


The Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust were formed in 1991 with and over the years via a programme of environmental and community projects has helped create and improve local greenspaces across Edinburgh and the Lothians – helping local people, wildlife, landscape and heritage – for further information www.elgt.org.uk
