Soil Association HQ takes the spoils in Bristol
Tuesday 14th January saw specifi return for 2020’s built environment event season our most exciting and ambitious yet!
The cream of the South West architectural community gathered in a rather stormy Bristol to be inspired, network and vote live on the evening and then celebrate the winner of the Southwest Project of the Year Award over dinner.
Over 100 people joined together from across 50+ practices to enjoy and engage with our 100 Voices – Creating a Climate for Change speaker series with speakers from all aspects of the built environment world not to mention take advantage of a great opportunity to network and socialise with each other and the specifi product portfolio technical experts in the room.
After a bumper launch year we have kept the much loved LIVE peer voting on the evening and every vote cast had the additional positive effect of planting a tree for our charity partner Tree Aid, the evening’s votes generating 125 trees.
The eventual and most deserving winner on the evening voted for by their peers was ASKEWCAVANNA’s, Soil Association HQ project. They were also joined by 2 Highly Commended projects, AWW’s, Brandon Yard project and Ferguson Mann’s, Copper Building project.
Chris Askew – ASKEWCAVANNA commented..
“It really felt like the topic of sustainability was a core part of Specifi this year, so it was especially gratifying to have our project for the Soil Association HQ recognised by our peers as the Bristol Project of the Year”
