The 3rd and 4th of September was time for Specifi to return to Scotland after the summer break with events celebrating the projects and people of both Edinburgh and Glasgow’s the finest Architecture and Landscape practices.
Both events saw over 150 specifiers and suppliers from across the industry assemble to be inspired by industry keynote speakers, talk projects and network over drinks before voting live on the evening and celebrating their respective Project of the Year entries and winners.
Starting with Edinburgh and the Architecture Project of the Year Award our eventual and most deserving winner on the evening voted for by their peers was JM Architects, Wallyford Primary School Project. They were also joined by 2 Highly Commended projects, HTA’s, Greenford Quay Project and Simpson and Brown’s, Mackintosh at the Willow project.
Day 2 in Glasgow followed with the Landscape Project of the Year Award, our eventual and most deserving winner on the evening voted for by their peers was ERZ Studio’s, The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice project. They were also joined by 2 Highly Commended projects, Ian White Associates, Beithir’s Lair Park project and TGP Landscape’s, Rainbow Garden project.
Needless to say, everyone had a great time with both events delivering healthy measures of inspiration, networking, social and celebration not to mention over 150 trees towards our TREE AID total being generated via the votes cast.
