Tuesday 14th May saw the cream of the Mersyside Architectural community gather to be inspired, network and vote live on the evening and then celebrate the winner of the Merseyside Project of the Year Award at the Marriot, Liverpool.
Our Liverpool event also provided the opportunity to showcase the work of John Moore University Yr6 Architectural Students providing some fantastic industry interaction with our attendees having the chance to view their work and share knowledge, experiences and the odd business card or two.
Specifi Liverpool saw over 100 people from over 40 Merseyside architectural and construction related businesses come together to enjoy inspiration from the evening’s keynote speaker and Digital Evangelist, Paul Wilkinson sharing his vision of the industry in 2029 followed by an opportunity to network over drinks and peruse the finalist’s gallery before peers placed their vote live with winners announced on the evening over the awards dinner.
Unlike many other awards these are voted for by peers LIVE on the evening and every vote cast had the additional positive effect of planting a tree for our charity partner Tree Aid, the evenings votes generated 240 trees towards Specifi’s 5000 tree target over the year.
The eventual and most deserving winner on the evening voted for by their peers was Condy Lofthouse Architects, Love Lane Brewery project a stunning warehouse conversion project creating both brewery and bar facilities. They were also joined by 2 Highly Commended projects, Brock Carmichaels Ruthin School Dining Hall project and Austin Smith Lord’s Wigan Bus Station project.
