October 22nd and 23rd was time for Specifi to return to Birmingham with back-to-back events celebrating the projects and people of the Midlands finest Landscape and Building Services practices.

Both events saw over 150 specifiers and suppliers from across the industry assemble to be inspired by industry keynote speakers, talk projects and network over drinks before voting live on the evening and celebrating their respective Project of the Year entries and winners.

Starting with the Landscape Project of the Year Award, our eventual and most deserving winner on the evening voted for by their peers was FIRA’s, Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre project. They were also joined by 2 Highly Commended projects, BEA’s, The Gate Project and GL Hearn’s, Redruth Brewery Quarter project.

Day 2 followed with the Building Services Project of the Year Award, our eventual and most deserving winner on the evening voted for by their peers was Couch Perry Wilke’s, Collaborative Teaching Lab project. They were also joined by 2 Highly Commended projects, Arcadis’, Sheriff School Project and NG Bailey’s, C-ALPS project.

Needless to say, everyone had a great time with both events delivering healthy measures of inspiration, networking, social and celebration not to mention the 200 trees towards our TREE AID total being generated via the votes cast.
